Unit Manager for the Intensive Care Section

Do you want to make a difference for patients in the most critical stages of life? Anopiva is now looking for two unit managers for the intensive care section, where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of intensive care and surgical care in a high-competence, research-oriented, and patient safety-focused environment, in close collaboration with colleagues and staff.

Anopiva (anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care) is the largest clinic at the University Hospital in Linköping and in the Region of Östergötland. The clinic is organized into sections – the intensive care section, north surgery, south surgery – as well as the sterile technical unit, and has a total of over 500 employees.

The intensive care section includes the departments for intensive care (Civa), postoperative care (Postop), and intermediate care (Cima). Civa cares for patients of all ages with life-threatening conditions. The department has 8-10 beds and provides highly specialized intensive care in newly renovated facilities tailored for future needs. Cima cares for patients with increased care needs, but not requiring intensive care, for example after intensive care, major surgery, or minor trauma. The department has six beds in modern facilities close to Civa. In postop, both children and adults are received directly after surgery – from simpler day surgery to more advanced procedures. There are 24 beds available here.

The operation is technology-intensive, personnel-dense, and conducted in close collaboration between professions and disciplines. Anopiva is a university hospital clinic where education and research hold a central position, and the culture of patient safety is strong.
